On a Silver Platter
This series is a visual meditation on time, decay, and beauty that doesn’t need fixing. Using worn silver platters—objects once prized for their shine—I create still life compositions that lean into what’s been aged, tarnished, and left behind. Each piece is a quiet rebellion against perfectionism, an invitation to look closer at what we’re usually taught to overlook.
These aren’t just arrangements—they’re offerings. Of petals, shells, rust, and memory. Age here isn’t seen as decline, but as depth. Tarnish isn’t ruin—it’s poetry. And beauty doesn’t exist in spite of flaws, but because of them. In this work, everything imperfect is made visible, valuable, and whole.

Sliver Platter Series
“I love the beauty of imperfection. In our overly-polished world, I find the unique textures and irregularities to be the most beautiful aspect of an object.” – Donna Dufault
